Turtle Time

 Today we saw an amazing
thing. A BIG Snapping Turtle!!
It was the biggest one I've ever seen in my life! He was so old! He had a bad leg too. When it was time for him to go, he jumped in the water. He made a big splash, it was really cool. Everyone was upset to see him leave, but we still had a good time playing with him.

Photos by AJ

I took this picture because i thought the dragonfly would be a very interesting picture.

I took this picture of this flower because i wanted a picture of the bee on it but it flew away.

I like this picture because the bush stood out to  me and i thought it would be a very appealing and i also like how some of the leafs are standing up.

The Pool!

Two of the favorite days of the campers is Tuesday and Thursday, because that is the day we go to the pool! Although not many of them can swim, they still enjoy relaxing and playing in the pool. Some even climb on other campers backs to stay afloat.(<-------as seen in picture here)
The kids enjoy the slide, water, and the friends they hanged out with. The Snack Bar is also very popular when talking about the Pool. The favorite on the menu is the Hot Dog Snack combo meal which includes a Hot Dog, a snack like chips and a drink. They also sell desserts like, ice cream sandwiches, vanilla, chocolate and mint and chipwiches too. The Slushees are the bomb but make sure to use a straw or your lips will be stained for hours.  The pool isn't just for swimming... we bring books along so we can lounge in the chairs and just relax.  S.R.M said, "I want to go again!" We will next Tuesday and Thursday! And the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that... Well you get the picture. DKM had a lot to say about the pool. "It was Fun"! "The deep end was really fun, going under water and coming back up is really fun, we can jump in and go to the bottom"
BSC said, "My favorite thing to do at the pool is playing monkey in the middle with a football

What do you like to do at the pool? Tell us in the comments down below!

the pirate ship

The pirate ship was one of the biggest trips the campers took this year so far. All the campers had to get up super early to catch the car to take them to the ship, the ride was long but it was worth it because when we got on the boat the pirates told us about the ship, the statues and toolbox the cat. Close to the end of the ship ride the pirates sang songs and read books to us. Here's some of our impressions of the trip...
JRG:
The ride was long, It took an hour.
DKM:
Ummm... The ride was good, just when I went to the pirate ship it was big and really awesome!

LAD: I liked when they showed us all the dogs and statues that were carved into the boat. It was cool how the boat was running for seventeen years and the cat spent fifteen years on the ship.
BSC: I liked when the pirate ship sailed off into the water, when we were in the water and sailing we saw a blue heron.
SRM: I loved that I was pulling up the sails and when the ship were rocking around and I love the most that when we first went on the ship and when the pirates sang songs and read stories.
DJM: I liked when we had orders to pull up the flag.
WB: I liked the story because it had pirates and the cannons that were everywhere but didn't move and didn't fire.  I liked the pirates because they weren't scary they were nice.
AGM: I liked spending time with mommy and I liked looking at the water with the sparkles.

So many people liked going on the ship and we are just showing the campers point of view not the parents and so many parents came, what do the parents think? Please comment down at the bottom!

Geocaching

FIRST GEOCACHE OF THE DAY: MORRISVILLE DOG PARK

OUR FIRST DISCOVERY EVER OF GEOCACHING WAS MORRSIVILLE DOG PARK! IN THE HOLDER WAS ARMY MEN, A WRENCH, A KALEIDOSCOPE, ERASERS, A LIZARD(FAKE), A JOKER, AND A LOG BOOK TO RECORD OUR FIND! OUR FIRST FIND HELPED US TO DISCOVER ONE MORE! MANOR PARK SOUTH.

SECOND GEOCACHE OF THE DAY:
MANOR PARK SOUTH
IN THE SECOND CONTAINER WE DISCOVERED A BRACELET, A HAIR CLIP, PIN, AND A LOG BOOK. THIS ONE TOOK US A BIT LONGER BECAUSE IT WAS SMALLER THAN NORMAL CONTAINERS. SO IT WAS HARDER TO FIND, BUT FROM A KEEN EYE FROM A.L.J WE FOUND IT IN NO PROBLEM!

IN THE END WE HAD A GREAT TIME SEARCHING FOR THE ITEMS!

Our day at Pennsbury Manor

We packed up in the car and we went on another trip, to Pennsbury Manor. While we were riding in the car, we saw a deer.
We were almost there, when Dan the man told the kids some rules. So we went in and we watched a little movie about William Penn. When the movie was over we went to go on to our tour. First we went to William Penn's house, we saw the rooms, were they dined, and much more other cool stuff.
Then we checked out the garden, and sniffed types of mints. There were lemon bombs, apple mint, spearmint, basil, and lavender

After smelling the mints, we were shown a reservoir where we got to fill it up and poke it with a stick. After fighting over the tools.... --------------->
We drove back to school to finish our great day with bowling! Where all the kids had a great time!

THE BIG CRAZE!

The biggest craze lately for the campers is making shooters out of weeds. The three biggest fans of the weeds are DKM, JRG, and LRE.(shown to the left) Every trip we go on, they always seem to find them! We thought it would be a good idea to show you how to make one.

HOW TO:
FIRST: Begin with a simple weed.
THEN: Take the end, root, of the weed and make a loop.
AFTER THAT:
Bend the extra piece of the stem of the weed down.
FINALLY:
You push the bent part towards the direction you want to shoot it at.

We do not know what these weeds are called, if you could tell us what the weeds are in the comments below. Thanks!
